What is a grant? What is a scholarship?
For our purposes, a grant is a sum of money given in response to a request for a specific program, equipment, or project. Scholarships – for our purposes – are given to post-secondary schools that have programs in restoration technology, rod and custom building, transportation design, classic boat design and construction. The schools then award the scholarship funds to students who meet the criteria set by the RPM Foundation.
-
Are you a public or private charity?
The RPM Foundation is a public charitable organization. The RPM Foundation receives its funds from collector vehicle and classic boat enthusiasts who wish to support young people and the future of their hobby. All gifts to the RPM Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
