Created to illustrate the “restoration” aspect of collector car ownership, our Shop Hop program guides groups of students, teachers and parents through real-world commercial restoration shops, giving them a firsthand look at the spaces and meeting their future employers and colleagues where their careers can take flight. Students ask questions of shop owners and technicians, and are exposed to equipment and situations within a working shop. Students often participate in “flash interviews”, some of which have resulted in paid internships and entry-level employment.
Griot’s Garage has been providing car-care enthusiasts with innovative new detailing products since 1991. See what went into making the Griot’s Garage Corporate Headquarters and Flagship Retail Store come to life. Get a glimpse into the property’s past, see how it was restored and built to become a car lover’s destination. You’ll also get a peek at a few “off limit” areas of the facility.
Griot’s Motors is a family run business that has grown from a small operation in the back of the Griot’s Garage to a 30,000sqft facility purpose built to serve their clients’ Sales, Restoration, Detail and Storage needs. Their mission is simple: to keep their clients and their cars on the road where they belong.
